The upgrade can be downloaded and installed anytime, however it will require all users to be logged out of WorkDESK for the duration of the install.
The upgrade password is emailed separately to current WorkDESK Subscribers.
Major changes to the WorkDESK database are needed to meet STP Phase 2 requirements. This is achieved a Windows Service connecting to an extension of the WorkDESK database. As a result, a second, one off installation is needed for this service and extension database. This is detailed in the Service Installation manual below. Order of installation:
Install the 12.5100 upgrade exe any time
Install & configure the STP2 Service any time after 12.5100 – users can remain in WorkDESK during this time.
Pre-Activate STP2 in WorkDESK any time after the service is installed & configure your STP2 data.
Activate STP2 in WorkDESK and start submitting to the ATO with STP2.
12.5100 Update Instructions – Instructions for installing the WorkDESK 12.5100 Update (All User’s) – Instructions are the same as for 12.3275.
WorkDESK STP2 Service Installation Manual – After installing 12.5100 and before activating STP2 in WorkDESK you must complete a service installation for WorkDESK to store the additional data required by the ATO. This is a technical installation and we recommend your IT Support or WorkDESK support assist with this installation.

Upgrade WorkDESK Outlook Integration.pdf – No changes to Outlook Integration are included in this version, however if you are experiencing issues with your current version of Outlook Integration you should uninstall your previous version and have 12.5018 installed. This version will support Office 2016 32 bit and 64 bit.
